SUMMARY:Trip - Highgate Cemetery Guided Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join WINK on a visit to the famous Highgate Cemetery. Monday 12th May 2025. We will take the train to London and head to the cemetery to meet our tour guide. After our visit we will have lunch before returning home. \nWe will be taken on a guided tour of Highgate Cemetery\, viewing areas including the iconic Egyptian Avenue\, the Circle of Lebanon and the Terrace Catacombs. We will also be able to see the rest of the cemetery and explore at our own leaisure after the tour. \nThis trip is only available to WINK Rayleigh members. Our first plant sale last year was a huge success and we’ve decided to make it an annual event! \nWe will also be joined by Essex Wildlife Trust who will give a talk on gardening for butterflies\, moths and caterpillars. \nPlease bring any plant/seed donations for the plant sales. Cash only for plant sale purchases. \nWednesday 21st May\, 7.45pm at WI Hall\, Bellingham Lane\, Rayleigh. \nVisitors welcome\, £5 entry\, cash only\, includes tea/coffee\, raffle ticket\, and our activities for the evening. Please bring your own mug for hot drinks. \nPlease note meeting details are subject to last minute change.
