Christmas jumpers and festive mocktails were the order of the evening at our December meeting. Members and a few visitors gathered together to round off the year with a social evening featuring mince pies, an apple and rosemary fizz mocktail and a secret Santa gift swap game. It was a lovely festive evening with lots of chatting and laughter which is just fantastic to see. See below for mocktail recipe!
Thank you to our members for being a wonderful group of ladies who are always up for some fun and a good laugh. We’ve had a great year here at WINK with many new members joining us and lots of visitors too. We took a gamble earlier this year when we decided to launch a brand new website and ‘up our game’ on social media, with the aim to attract new ladies of all ages to join our modern, vibrant WI. The committee work hard behind the scenes organising the meetings, events and trips and we are so pleased to see so many new faces join us and for our slightly different way of doing things appeal to so many. It has been a bumper year for the number of visitors to our meetings and our new members joining and we hope to take this growth into 2025 and continue spreading the word about WINK and the WI as a whole.
