We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.45pm for an 8pm start
at the WI Hall in Rayleigh
Women’s Institute New Konnections (WINK) Rayleigh was set up in 2014 by a group of ladies who wanted a WI with a modern feel to it.
We are fairly informal and so don’t do a lot of the ‘typical’ WI things (no singing Jerusalem, for example). Our emphasis is to gather together likeminded women who want to make new friends, learn new skills, go on outings and generally have fun!
March 2024 saw us celebrate our 10th birthday and we would like to thank all past and present members for their kindness, support and friendship over the last ten years and we look forward to another fun-filled decade!
Our meetings are always open to visitors and members from other WIs. If you are not yet a WI member and would like to join, find out more here.
About the WI
In 1915, we set out to give women a voice and to be a force for good in the community. Since then, our members and our ambitions alike have grown tremendously.
Today, we are the largest women’s organisation in the UK and we pride ourselves on being a trusted place for all women of all ages, to share experiences and learn from each other.
A WI membership offers the opportunity to meet women in your local area in-person and virtually, to make friends and make a difference in your community. We campaign nationally on a wide range of issues and provide life-long learning and self-development opportunities for women in England and Wales.
