Our June 2024 meeting was a fun dance themed evening with Deniz Taylor and Fragrance of the East as our guest speakers who gave us a belly dancing talk and demonstration. We learned about the different types of belly dance and its history and enjoyed many different dances and music. A few of our members joined in learning various key moves and a short routine which was fantastic! We also had a dance themed quiz which was very entertaining and highlighted how many styles of dance there are to try. It was a busy evening with a few new members joining and some visitors too.
