For our May meeting we invited Julie from Cherry Orchard Nurseries to give us a demonstration on planting summer hanging baskets, and a gardening Q&A which was very informative and prompted some great discussions about how best to care for fig trees, hostas, hydrangeas, willow trees and many more fabulous plants. We all learned something new to help us continue cultivating our beautiful gardens! The hanging basket was raffled and won by one of our lovely visitors.
We also had a plant sale which was very popular with a variety of plants including oak saplings, sunflowers, beans, tomatoes, succulents and so many more. We welcomed a lot of new visitors and the whole evening had a fantastic vibe full of fun and laughter which is always our aim!
